Entry-Level Driver Training - ELDT
Effective February 7, 2022, you must enroll in Entry-Level Driver Training - ELDT.
This is a federal mandate and it was enforced by FMCSA - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Agency!
The only exception is when your Commercial Learner Permit was extended before February 7, 2022, and it is still valid.
In case you will not enroll in ELDT with a registered FMCSA Training Provider, you will not be allowed to take the CDL Road Test!
Entry-Level Driver Training
Entry-Level Driver Training - ELDT Online Class
ELDT is about safety! Its goal is to decrease the number of accidents on the road.
We will enroll you in the Online ELDT Training.
There will be a package with relevant videos that you should watch.
We will track the progress of your studies online and receive reports about that.
Our school will log your ELDT entry into the FMCSA USDOT TPR system.
When you come to the Road Test, examiners will verify this entry to ensure you can take the Road Test!
